No Quarter For Ditchrats

April 26th, 2018

That psycho that ran over all those people in Toronto. Did you see the vid of him when the rampage stopped and he was standing outside the van with his arm outstretched holding something? From a distance it looked like a gun but it turned out not to be. No matter. He was told repeatedly by law enforcement to drop whatever he was holding. Now this might sound a bit like an overreaction but after one warning I think this should’ve swung into a Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid ending. “Fire!” And done. One warning was more than this sicko gave to the people he mowed down. At the point he got out of the van and stood there pointing and then told the police to “shoot me in the head.” Done. There was something on this mope’s Facebook page identifying himself as part of the anti-feminist “manosphere.” Wha? Okay another example. That Boston marathon terrorist who kept the city hostage for several days after killing or maiming hundreds of people. Remember how he ended up in that boat in a backyard? A witness saw him in there and notified police. Did we really need to take this sh.thead alive? The trial, the reliving of all that horror for the surviving victims, the cover of Rolling Stone. All that is wiped away with a Butch Cassidy ending. Here’s one more. That shooter in Colorado who opened fire at the movie theatre. Police found him behind the theatre wearing a flak jacket, knew it was him. “Fire!” We don’t need no stinkin’ trial for these ditchrats. The scary part is I was just getting ready to write a blog on how when I’m out and about I’m thinking of what I would do if someone starts shooting. Really, when I’m in a grocery store I start looking at shelves that have items that are easy to remove so I can crawl in, like a pack of paper towels that I can pull back in front of me to hide from the gunman. I’m always conscious of where the exits are in a public place and scanning when people walk by to see if they look like they’re a gunman. Do you do this too or am I overamping? And for a moment I had forgotten about walking down the street and having someone come up on the sidewalk and then the Toronto atrocity happened. So remember Butch Cassidy ending and then there’s the other ending I now think about. Remember the last episode of The Sopranos when Tony and family are in that diner after Meadow has finally parallel parked the car? Music is playing, they’re getting ready to order when a guy walks in. Fade to black. I’ll be behind the paper towels.

Peace,

Garry
