Buzzed, Baked and Beyond
May 3rd, 2019Recently I visited for the very first time one of those cannabis dispensaries that are now popping up all over the country. I wasn’t looking to buy anything, no I really mean it. I was with my brother Terry who was shopping, not to get high but to manage pain. He had surgery several months ago and pain has lingered ever since. Due to the hyper focus put on the over prescribing of pain killers it is very difficult to get a pain killer prescription. Therein comes the visit to I think it was called Willy Zonka and the Chocolate Edible Factory. Several weeks ago he tried a product that had too much THC, PVP, UPS, or something of that nature and he got way too buzzed and hated the feeling so this time he purchased a tincture, say tincture a few times it tickles the end of your tongue. Speaking of tongue, when he got home he put of few drops on his tongue and for about 24 hours nothing really happened, the pain was still in full force. But after those 24 hours he started to feel some relief so he’s hoping this does the trick. BTW, the dispensary was the size of about three airplane bathrooms meaning tiny, tiny. I know like there are big airplane bathrooms. The shop was lined with glass cases like a jewelry store but instead of rings and things it was smokeables, gummies, wrapped candy, and the aforementioned tinctures. There was a woman behind the counter who said she never thought pot would be legal in her lifetime…she is 25! Funny right? When you walk in they ask for your driver’s license of course to make sure you’re of age but then they made a copy of it and I thought, great, now I’m in some government drug file since the feds still say pot is illegal. And that was my virgin experience at I think it is called Buzzed, Baked and Beyond.
